Unprecedented growth
With the opening of the new Ercan airport with modern architecture and a capacity of 10 million passengers, the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus promises a remarkable and unprecedented development.
Now, various airlines have launched direct flights from Russia to Northern Cyprus, and soon direct flights will be made from Britain, Kazakhstan, and Iran.
Between January and November 2022, the number of Russian travelers arriving in Northern Cyprus increased by more than 500 percent, and the first direct flight from this country was launched.
The next rank is for the United Kingdom, where the arrival of passengers from this country has grown by 394 percent.
Kazakhstan with 360% and France with 364% are in the next rank.
Iran has also ranked fifth with the arrival of 29,000 people.
